They need about a square metre per fully grown pig. When they are smaller they shouldn't be given so much room as they'll soil in the house instead of outside. However, being fairly clean living creatures, if the living space isn't large enough to have an indoor toilet that doesn't impinge on their lying down area, they'll go out. I can make an ark of 6 ft by 8 ft for €550 at the last calculation. The price depends largely on the price of the curved steel top. The floor and ends are of WBP plywood, the sub-frame of treated 4x2 timber and the roof of pre-painted, curved corrugated iron sheeting. The price includes delivery.
